Martha L. Coogle

Martha L. Coogle, age 74 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away July 31, 2024 at Hildegard House. Martha worked for the American Printing House for the Blind for 42 years. She played bunco, bingo, and enjoyed the casino. Martha was known to her great-nieces and nephews as the best fudge maker. She will be greatly missed by many.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Nellie Eden; her husband, Bruce Dale Coogle; her brothers, Roy Eden and Robert Eden; and her sisters, Barbara Hibbard, Judy Carman, Betty Perry, and Rosa Potts. 

Martha is survived by her sister, Debbie Carman; her brother, Henry Eden (Linda); her brother-in-law, Billy Potts; and many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. 

Visitation will be from 2pm to 6pm on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243 and on Monday, August 5th from 9am until 11am.  A celebration of Martha's life will be at 11am Monday at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Middletown Historic Cemetery.
