Martha "Sue" Cheatwood

Martha Sue Cheatwood , 91, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, entered glory in the arms of Jesus on Saturday, July 29, 2023. Sue was a loving wife, mom, Mimi, sister, aunt, friend, and most importantly a Christian. She loved the Lord with all of her heart and did not hesitate to share her faith with all who crossed her path. She had a contagious smile and she lived life big but loved bigger!
She was born on April 25, 1932 in Manchester, Georgia to William Morris and Dora Mae (Sosebee) Jones. She is preceded in death by her Mother, Dora Mae Jones, Father, William Morris Jones, Sisters, Wilma Ingram and Joyce Thompson.
Sue is survived by her loving Husband of 73 years, Elmer Harris Cheatwood; Children, Pamela (Louie) Tillotson, Ronald (Carrol) Cheatwood, and Scottie Cheatwood; Grandchildren, Tara (Mike) Steele, Christopher (Jamie) Cheatwood, and Courtney (Joe) Tudor; Great-Grandchildren, Isabella Steele, Hezekiah Steele, Abigail Steele, Charlotte Cheatwood, Eleanor Cheatwood, and Harrison Tudor, as well as a host of cousins, family, and friends to cherish her memory forever.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life at College Heights Church (710 College Street Rd. Elizabethtown, KY 42701), on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 5:00 pm.
