Marlene Annsigwalt Haydon

May 12, 1945 — November 2, 2014

Marlene Ann Sigwalt Haydon, age 69 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014. She graduated from Uniontown Hospital School of Nursing in Uniontown, PA., where she received her nursing diploma. While working at Group Health Association in Washington, D.C., she earned her Bachelor Degree at Columbia Union College. She then went on to earn a Masters Degree in Public Health at the University of Louisville. She was Director of Clinical Quality and Innovation with Humana's Government Business. She was a devoted member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church where she previously served on the Church Council. She was preceded in death by her first husband Frederick Sigwalt; children, Jennifer and Brian; parents, Homer and Andrianna Eskra Paris; and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Paris.

Marlene is survived by her loving husband of almost 10 years, George L. Haydon IV; sons, Eric, Mark and Sean Sigwalt (Jennifer); sister, Marcella Paris Ermlick (Scott); brother, Raymond W. Paris (Patty); grandchildren, Sarina, Brehanna and Braeden Sigwalt; many nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

Mass of celebration will be 10am Thursday, November 6, 2014 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 1395 Girard Dr, Louisville, KY 40222. Visitation will be 4-8pm Wednesday, November 5 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive.

Additional services will be held at Robert T. Kish Funeral Home, 1 Legion Street, Republic, PA., with visitation there from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Friday, November 7th and a Blessing Service at 10am on Saturday, November 8th. Burial will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, 132 Twin Hills Rd, Brier Hill, PA.

The family would like to thank numerous friends, including best friends, Kathleen and Stephen Scelzo, for all their support during this difficult time.
