Mark Stephen Price Sr.
June 7, 1959 — August 7, 2014
Mark "Steve" Price, Sr., 55, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 peacefully in his sleep at University Hospital.
He is preceded in death by two brothers; Edward Price, Jr. and Phillip Price.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Price; parents, Edward Price, Sr. (Valeria) and Joyce Hare (John); children, Eric Edelin, Misty Warren, Mark Price, Jr., Lucas Price, Alex Price, Steven Slone, and Justin Reinstedler; siblings, Antonia Padron (Pat), Karen Ahoor (Roy), Lisa Watson (Michael), Jon Ochsenbein, and Jamie Witten (Chad); three grandchildren; one great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a driver for Yellow Cab for TARC 3. He loved his passengers, and they loved him.
He was a loving husband, father, and son. He was a great friend to everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014 from 1pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Lou, Ky 40272) A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mark will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at 11am at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff from 9S and 8S at University Hospital.
