Mark Gordon Peters

Mark Gordon Peters, 56, of Underwood, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. He was born on June 25, 1966, in Wilmington, Delaware. Mark loved his family dearly. He worked at Humana as a project manager for 11 years. Mark also enjoyed serving on the tech team at Southeast Christian Church.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Lysa Peters; children, Katie (Colter) Jonas, Craig Peters, Jonathan Peters, Abigail Peters, and Josiah Peters; parents, Bruce and MaryKay Peters; sister, Jennifer (Ashley) Wenger; mother-in-law, Betty Sellers; and father-in-law, Stan Watson.

Mark will be laid to rest privately at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Southeast Christian Church Indiana Campus (1309 Charlestown-New Albany Road, Jeffersonville, IN 47130). Doors open at 1:30 p.m.
