Mark Anthony Meaux, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, February 27th, 2025, at Eastway Health & Rehabilitation Center. Mark was one of the triplets born on April 10th, 1960, in Louisville, KY, Mark passed away after fighting a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Mark enjoyed activities such as drawing, basketball, and martial arts in the early years of his life. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends, listening to music, and singing. During his adult years, Mark worked for several companies, including the Jeffersonville Mall and General Electric. Mark later moved from Louisville to Waterloo, Iowa, where he committed to a life with Jesus Christ and developed a deep hunger for God’s Word and church.
He was married to (Martha Ann Mays) and had three children. His faith helped him face the challenges of broken relationships and numerous health issues.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Meaux, Sr. & Ida Meaux (Anderson), and his sister, Wilma Annette Meaux.
He is survived by three adult children: son Justin Meaux, daughter Destiny Meaux, and son Mason Meaux. He also leaves behind three grandchildren: Micah and Asa Robinson (mother Destiny Meaux) and Virtue Meaux (father Justin Meaux). Three stepchildren with Marilyn Meaux as their mother: stepdaughters, Shannon Boyd, Lashanda Lewis, and stepson Michael Jones.
Mark's surviving siblings are Arthur Meaux, Jr. (Elaine), Shalonda Meaux, and John Meaux (Julie). He also leaves behind nieces and nephews: (children of Arthur and Elaine) Karen Boyce, and Katie Boyce (children of John & Julie) Amanda Meaux, Ashley Morris, Jared Meaux, and Jordan Meaux.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7TH, at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243. To leave a memory of Mark or a condolence for the family, please us the "Guest Book" option below.
