Mark Anthony "Tony" McMahan , age 67, of Shelbyville, Kentucky, joined our Heavenly Father on June 28, 2023.
Tony was born on May 31, 1956, to the late Robert McMahan and Lavern Waters (Vastine) in Louisville, Kentucky. He spent his youth in Louisville where he later met and married Nancy Doan and was blessed with four children and eventually several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Tony was a kind soul with a desire to make people laugh and always willing to lend a hand to his family and friends. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and he will be forever missed by those who loved him.
In addition to his parents, Tony is preceded in death by his brothers, Larry, Bruce, Gene and Jackie McMahan.
Tony is survived by his four children, Lena McMahan, Mark Anthony (Kimberly) McMahan, Jr., Ronnie (Katie) Doan, and James Doan; nine grandchildren, Bruce, Jonathan, Louis, Marcus, Alexis, Donovan, MaKenna, Ronnie and Bently; three great-grandchildren, Kingston, Adonis, and Amias; three siblings, Donna (Kenneth) McMahan McGill, Mike McMahan, and Robin (Jimmy) McMahan Griffin; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
