Mark Edward Peterson, 60, of Louisville died February 19, 2011. Mark was a long time employee of St. Matthews Hardware and had many friends and acquaintances in the St. Matthews area, where he lived all his life. Never one to miss a family event, Mark was a loved son, brother and uncle. We'll miss his smiling face.
He was preceded in death by his father James Tolbert Peterson and a sister Lynn Peterson.
Mark is survived by his mother Carolyn H. Peterson; a brother, Steve Peterson (Beverly); sisters, Kathi Peterson, and Beth Hensley (Bob), all of Louisville and
a brother Jim Royce of Vail, Arizona; nieces, Lynn Bixler (Toby), Amy Peterson and Nicole Royce; nephews, Clay Smith (Stephanie), Todd Smith (Roxana), Stephen Peterson, Alex Peterson (Emily), and Aaron Sturm.
Funeral mass will be held at Holy Spirit Church at 10:00 AM Saturday February 26, 2011. A family gathering will follow at the parish hall.
