Mark D. Sheets, 33, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2011. A devoted father, Mark loved his children dearly and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved fishing, his '94 Mustang, snakes, and pit bulls.
Mark was born on December 8, 1977 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to Christopher L. and Laurel L. (Young) Sheets of New Albany.
In addition to his parents, he was survived by his children, Mikki R., Justice M., and Kiefer D. Sheets; brothers, Michael L. Sheets (Lisa) of Pekin, Indiana and C. David and Kurt A. Sheets, both of New Albany; grandmother, Ione Howard of Jeffersonville; and his baby's momma, Shannon Witt.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM on Sunday April 17, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 10 AM on Monday, April 18, 2011 at the funeral home followed by burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mark's family in care of the funeral home.
