Marjorie Jaggers Davis

November 5, 1927 — March 24, 2025

Marjorie Jaggers Davis, 97, a cherished resident of Louisville, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025.

A remarkable woman, Marjorie was the epitome of love and devotion as a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her warm spirit and kindness touched the lives of everyone around her. After retiring from Brown & Williamson, she dedicated her life to serving her community and her faith as a member of Valley View Church. Marjorie also found joy in teaching Sunday School at Rockford Lane Baptist Church, sharing her wisdom and nurturing countless young hearts. In her leisure time, she relished square dancing, enjoyed shopping, and most importantly, treasured every moment spent with family and friends.

Born on November 5, 1927, in Hart County, Kentucky, she was the beloved daughter of Roscoe and Ruby (Puckett) Jaggers. Marjorie's life was marked by both joys and sorrows; she is now reunited in peace with her husband, Richard Clifford Davis, as well as her beloved son, Ralph Glenn Davis, daughter, Donna Jean Davis, granddaughter, Mindy Martin, and her devoted parents.

Marjorie's loving legacy continues through her devoted daughter, Janet Sue Rovak, and daughter-in-law, Louise Davis. She leaves behind a beautiful family who will carry her memory in their hearts: granddaughters Monique (Jason) Casale, Kristie (Joel) Barnes, Kathy (Nathan) Harp, and grandson James (Bo) Davis. The joy of her great-grandchildren—Madison Bean, Audrey Bean, Ruby Harr, John Harr, Tyler Harp, Kaitlyn Barnes, and Madison Davis—brightened her days and filled her heart with love. She also shared many wonderful memories with her lifelong friend, Jeanette (Wayne) Eads, and numerous extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
