Marilynn Swan McCoy, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022.
She was born on January 27, 1943 in Louisville to the late Douglas and Carolyn Peyton Swan. Marilynn was a passionate and talented artist. She worked in many mediums and specialized in portraiture. Marilynn shared her passion by starting Swan Studio in Louisville. She had a great love for the Lord and was a member of Southeast Christian Church.
Marilynn is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Stephen Lawrence McCoy; daughter, Monique Mattingly; and grandsons, Peyton and Cameron Mattingly.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel,(235 Juneau Drive). Her Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 pm on Monday, at the funeral home.
