Marilyn Lesher

Lesher, Marilyn Elaine 56, passed away December 8th.
She was an energy analyst with Summit Energy Services working with Natural Gas pipelines.
A 1973 graduate of Eastern High School and Montana State University in 1996.
She is survived by her son, Brian Cade, parents Margaret and Marvin Lesher, sisters, Marianne Lesher and Marty Walsh, grandchildren,Sydney and Tyler Cade.
An avid reader, member of the Agape Singers of Louisville and proud live-in caregiver to both parents. Marilyn was an award winning volunteer for the American Cancer Society most recently recieving their prestigious "Spirit of Hope" award.
She lobbied on 'the Hill' every year on her birthday. Her leadership in the Action Network, C.A.N Ambassador team, president of Metro Louisville Leadership council, Relay for Life, Metro United Way speakers bureau, among others will be felt for generations to come.
Celebration of Life 7 PM Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive with visitation after 3 PM.
