Marie Thompson

Marie Thompson, age 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 4, 2024, she left behind her three children Becky (Scott) Schroeder of (Crestwood, Ky), Harry (Irish) Dean of the (Philippines), and Katy Dean of Austin, TX. She is also survived by her sister, Kathy Maxwell (Ron); her brothers, Mike Thompson (Tammie), and Scott (Janet) Thompson; grandchildren, David Dean (Austin, TX), Holden (Lucy) Schroeder (Lexington, KY), and Jacq Schroeder (Washington State), Kailani Dean (Philippines);  uncle, Charles (Donna) Johnson (Williamsport, PA), and aunt, Gloria (Rich) Schacht in (Southgate, MI), and numerous nieces and nephews in KY as well as numerous cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, uncles, and fiancé. 

A special thank you to her church family at Grace Point Baptist in Middle River MD where she lived for 40 years prior to coming to KY in October. Her special friends Pastor Ben (Emory) Hyrne, Pastor Bob (Mitzi), and dear friend Ann Sanders. 

A special thank you to her work family at RKK in Baltimore MD- Karen Huddles, Paula Kreutzer, and Stepanie Workman.

Thank you to all the wonderful people from Hospice, you have been a true blessing for our family. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hosparus Health, 6200 Dutchmans Ln, Louisville KY, 40205, in memory of Marie Thompson.

There will be no services.
