Marie Magana

Marie Magana, age 92, went to be with her Lord on November 17, 2012 at Baptist East Hospital with her daughter by her side. She was a active member of St. Matthews Baptist Church. She was a former resident of St Joseph , Missouri where she worked as a food service provider for several nursing homes and hospitals in the local area.

She is preceded in death by, Fred W. Ogi and Hipolito(Paul)Magana of St. Joseph, MO.; two brothers, Don Lamb and Dick Lamb of California.

She is survived by her children; Joseph (Emma) Ogi, of The Villages, Florida, Rilla Hinton of the home, Lorenda (Ron) Enslow, of The Villages, Florida, and Mac (Pam) Ogi, of Gladstone, Missouri. One sister, Alice (Harry) Boselly and three brothers, Tom (Sylvia) Lamb, Jim (Dorthy) Lamb, Bob (Joan) Lamb. Six grandchildren; Cindi McKinley, Ronna Beth Parks, David E. Hinton Jr., Christian Ogi, Scott Ogi, and Shelly Mayer and fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, along with several nieces and nephews.

Interment will be held at a later date in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Memorial Expressions can be made to St. Matthews Baptist Church in care of Senior Adult Ministries.

Visitation will be November 21, 2012 at St. Matthews Baptist Church, 3515 Grandview Ave., Louisville, KY from 12:00PM to 2:30PM with service to follow at 2:30PM.
