Marie Greco

Marie Ann Greco age 70 passed away on January 9, 2013 at University Hospital surrounded by family members after a long battle with Crohn's Disease. She was born in Trenton, New Jersey. She attended St.Aloysius in Pewee Valley. Marie was previously the president and owner of the Mentor Group. Prior to moving to Louisville, she was an executive with Worrell Newspapers located in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was also an executive with a law firm in West Virginia. Marie received the Better Business Bureau " Arbitrator of the year award" here in Louisville, Ky. Also Marie is a volunteer with Norton Brownsboro Hospital's Patient and Family Advisory Council.

Marie loved to travel around the world. She was very adventurous and enjoyed jumping out of airplanes, firewalking, power-parachuting, and big game hunting in Africa.

She was preceeded in death by her parents Matthew and Anna Zuffrano and her younger sister Carol Gallo.

She is survived by her husband Patrick , her daughter, Christine(David)Scheurich. A sister Madeline Durcanin and three grandsons; David Jr., Kevin and Keith Scheurich.

Marie loved people and saw the good in everyone and always was quick to help someone. She loved animals especially Sadie, her Doberman and Pepper a fox terrier.

In leiu of flowers a charity of your choice or the Crohn's Foundation. A private visitation was held on Friday January 11, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home.
