Marie Daniels Freeman

Marie D. Freeman,83, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on September 11, 2014. She retired from Moutainside Hospital.

Marie was born on January 3, 1931, in Dothan, Alabama to the late Tom and Bertha Daniels. She was also preceded in death by her two sons, Alfred Freeman, Thomas Freeman; two grand-daughters, Shinita Freeman, and Charlene Render.

She is survived by her fiancé, William Barnette; children, Albertha Freeman, Charles Freeman Sr.; one brother, Alphonzo Daniels; and a host of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A Homegoing Celebration will be held at 12pm on Friday, September 19, 2014 at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Green Meadows Cemetery.
