Marian was a devoted wife to her late husband, William Reed, with whom she shared a beautiful 57 years of marriage. Their bond was a testament to true partnership, filled with laughter and adventure. Together, they enjoyed long drives, often spending hours immersed in nature, delighting in the wildlife they encountered along the way. Marian’s deep appreciation for the beauty of life extended into her hobbies, where she found joy in antiques, home decorating, and sewing, creating a warm and welcoming environment for her family and friends.
She was a doting mother to her three daughters, Carol (James) Wright, Janet Hawranko, and Sherry Reed. Marian nurtured their dreams and supported them through life's challenges, always there with open arms and an understanding heart. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Holly (Cameron) McLaughlin, Amy Meredith, Sean Brabandt, Abby Wright, Madeline Hawranko, and Mary Hawranko. Each grandchild held a special place in her heart, bringing her immense joy and pride. She was also a delighted great-grandmother to Connor, Camden, Remi, and Elsie, who added even more brightness to her life.
Marian was the loving sister of Gary (Janie) Schoen and Bob (Sherry) Schoen, whose bonds were strengthened through shared memories and a commitment to family. She constantly reminded them of the importance of love and connection, embodying a spirit of generosity and kindness that touched many lives.
Although Marian has joined her parents, Maynard and Mildred Schoen, and her beloved William in eternal rest, her warmth, wisdom, and laughter will forever echo in the hearts of all who knew her. Marian Jane Reed will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered for the joy and light she brought into this world. Her spirit lives on in her family’s cherished memories and in the enduring legacy of love she leaves behind.
