Marian H. Ray

Marian Horne Ray, 93, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on May 11, 2022. Marian was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Guy & Garnet Horne on November 6, 1928.

Marian is preceded by her parents; her sister, Martha Ann Miner, and her nephew, David Miner.

Marian leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children Mayna Ray, Thomas Leo "Tom" Ray Jr., Rebecca "Becky" (David) Lawson, & Sandra "Sandy" (Ray) Arza; her grandchildren, Dustin (Kelley) Johnstone, Bryan Lawson, Sara (Kirk) Michels, Doug (Freyja) Lawson, Cassandra "Cassie" (Shane) Sooter, Landon (Jackie) Arza, Kalee Arza, John (Courtney) Arza, & Adam Arza; her great grandchildren Claire Johnstone, Martin Johnstone, Mason Lawson, Grant Lawson, Zachary Michels, Katherine Michels, Isaac Michels, Lucas Michels, Adam Lawson, Ethan Lawson, Dakota Sooter, Caleb Sooter, Jasmine Sooter, Dahlia Sooter, Micah Sooter, Asa Sooter, Mayla Sooter, Laurel Sooter, Story Sooter, Guy Revis Sooter, Lyra Arza, Coraline Arza, & Ezra Arza; her nieces, Amanda Davison & Jeanie Miner; her nephew, John (Linda) Miner, as well as other relatives and her friends at Amber Oaks Assisted Living who will all miss her very much.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville) with service to follow at 11:00AM. Interment will take place Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Patriot PAWS Service Dogs (254 Ranch Trail, Rockwall, TX 75032).
