Marguriete Florence (Edwards) "Deana" Spalding, 50, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013 at her home with her loving family by her side.
Deana was born on December 31, 1962 in New Albany, Indiana to Dorothy (Titus) Bruce and the late David Edwards, Sr. She worked for many years at the New Albany Box & Basket Factory and most recently was employed at Diamond Billiard Products. Deana was an avid gardener and loved to take care of her flowers at home.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Charles "Pat" Spalding; sons, John E. Spalding, Patrick A. Spalding (April), & Charles E. Spalding; mother, Dorothy Bruce; siblings, Donald Edwards (Mayme), David Edwards, Jr., & Rexeen Blevins; grandchildren, Lyrical Spalding, Summer & Autumn Allen; nephew, David Edwards.
Visitation will be from 3 PM to 8 PM Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Friday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem, Indiana.
