Mrs. Margie Harris Osbourne, age 89, of Waxhaw, NC, passed away March 3, 2011 at White Oak Manor there.
She was born November 22, 1921 in Wickliffe, KY to the late Jesse and Sadie Harris and had retired from the Jefferson State Vocational School and was a member of Hazelwood Baptist Church, all in Louisville.
Her survivors include her daughters, Jill Smithberger of Mooresville NC and Gayle Krodel of Waxhaw, NC; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her loving extended family.
Services celebrating her life were held at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Heritage Funeral Home in Weddington, NC. Burial will be Friday, March 11, 2011 at 2 p.m. in Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, beside her beloved husband, Charlie Osborne, who died in 1974.
Local arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive.
