Margaret Irene Shaw, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.
She was born on March 8, 1937 in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Myrtle (Irwin) Singleton . Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Stephen Ballard Shaw, daughter, Lee-Ellen Shaw, and siblings, Billy Singleton, Alice Radcliff, Anna Sullivan, and Laura O'Connor.
Margaret was a loving and supportive wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Bethlehem United Church of Christ. Margaret enjoyed reading, baking, sewing and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Howard Shaw, children, Jennifer (Tim) Cull, John (Alan) Shaw, and Tim Shaw, grandchildren, Michael Shaw, Joseph Cull, Andrew Cull, Vanessa Shaw, Valarie Shaw, and David Smith, great grandchildren, Erin Shaw, Mya Shaw and Lily Cull, and her sister, Elizabeth Camille Singleton.
The family requests that contributions in Margaret's memory be made to the America Diabetes Association.
