Margaret Mohr

Mrs. Margaret M. Mohr, age 91, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the home of her daughter. She retired in 1978 from Fawcett Printing Co. with over 31 years of service and then worked for Belknap Credit Union for 10 years. She was a member of Little Sisters of the Poor Auxilliary, a former Eucharistic minister at Jewish Hospital volunteered services at the old St. Anthony's Hospital and Our Lady of Peace Gift Shop with over 5000 hours of service. Mrs. Mohr was also a member of the old St. Paul's Catholic Church and St. Pius X Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O. Mohr, a son Robert P. Mohr, sister Cecilia Hertweck, brothers Paul and Louis Miller.

She is survived by her daughters, Janet Davis (Don), Patricia Highley; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Carolyn Miller and daughter-in-law Barbara Mohr.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 2009 from the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville with interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1-5 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. to time of service Thursday. Memorials may take form of contribution to Little Sisters of the Poor or Mass of the Air.
