Margaret (Jerkins) Millner

February 6, 1953 — October 21, 2023

Margaret (Jerkins) Millner, 70, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, went to be with Jesus on Saturday, October 21, 2023 surrounded by her family. She retired as the office manager for the Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky. Margaret was an active member of Southeast Christian Church - Indiana Campus. She always enjoyed participating in Bible studies and looked forward to hosting family gatherings.

She was the best wife and mother, always sacrificing for her family. Margaret went through a lot of difficult situations in her lifetime, but through every struggle, demonstrated her faith and trust in Jesus. She always gave encouragement and let her family know that without a doubt, they could do anything that they set their hearts on. Margaret leaves behind a rich legacy of faith through her children and grandchildren. She suffered from dementia in her later years, but her family takes great comfort in knowing that her suffering is over.

She was born on February 6, 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee to Walter and Mary (Tinkle) Jerkins. Margaret is survived by her husband, Bruce Anderson; children, Brian Millner (Angela), Lori Tandy (Michael); step-children, Joyce Anderson, Roxanne DeWitt (Daniel); brothers, Ron Jerkins (Sara), John Jerkins (Debbie); 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and lifelong best friend, Myra Sheddan.

Margaret's wish was to be cremated and a reception of family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Southeast Christian Church - Chapel in the Woods (1407 Moser Road, Louisville KY 40299) with a celebration of her life taking place at 1:00 p.m.
