Margaret Louise Smith

Margaret Louise "Jackie" Smith passed away on May 21, 2014. Jackie's favorite pasttimes were taking car rides, painting, listening to all music and especially spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Sarah Johnson; son, Stanley Babbage and sisters, Virginia Altes and Ruth Bean.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, James Smith; children, Dudley (Nancy)Young, Sharon (Bobby) Jones, Candace Green, Teresa Hyatt and Dave (Susan) Babbage; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; step-children, James Smith,III, Shelanda Smith, Tamara Smith, Gerald Smith and Darneta Smith.
The family will be gathering Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) for a private service.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes that expressions of sympathy be made to American Diabetes Association, 161 St Matthews Ave Ste 3, Louisville, KY 40207
