Margaret L. (Plue) Bain, 87, of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2012. She retired from Morton Memorial Daycare after working over 20 years and was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville.
Margaret was born on June 11, 1925 in New Albany to the late George and Gertrude (Berkenmeyer) Plue. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Bain; son, Kirk Bain; and twin sister, Mildred Doering, brothers, George and Marvin Plue. She is survived by her sons, Mark Bain (Jena), Kelly Bain (Cindy); 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (316 N. Sherwood Avenue, Clarksville). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM Saturday with burial to follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Jeffersonville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society.
