Margaret G. (Westbrook) Bauman

Margaret Grace (Westbrook) Bauman, 64, a loving and good mother, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on July 21, 2011. Margaret graduated from Atherton H.S. in 1964 and went on to study at UofL and received her CPA from I.U.S. She was a former member of St. William Catholic Church in Louisville where she served on the new direction board and volunteered at the House of Ruth. Margaret was a very generous person, a matron of her family and Richo's Pub.

Margaret was born on October 20, 1946 in Louisville to the late Thomas E. and Mary J. (Rudd) Westbrook. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Thomas R. Westbrook.

She is survived by her children, Mike Bauman of New Albany, Michelle Bauman-Grant of Lynchburg, VA, Joey Bauman (Courtney) of Livingston, MT, Beth Mitchell (Tim) of Atlanta, GA; siblings, Melinda Moore, Bruce Westbrook, Katy Priddy, Jon Westbrook, Mary Pardon, Andrew Westbrook, Ellen Roberts, Karen Carter, Mark Westbrook, Lisa Adams, and Laura Ballard; and 7 grandchildren.

A Memorial Visitation will be from 4 PM to 6 PM on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Memorial Service will be at 6 PM at the funeral home.
