Margaret Endris

Margaret E. "Patty" (Hasty) Endris, 78, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Tuesday morning, July 27, 2010. Patty was a long-time and very active member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville. She enjoyed traveling, horseracing, and her work as a medical assistant. Patty was also a former employee at the Jeffersonville Quartermaster and the Charlestown Ammunition Plant. She followed Indiana University athletics and cherished her grandchildren immensely. Patty was born on November 19, 1931 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Patty is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Paul A. Endris; daughter, Mary Pat Willis and her husband, Jim of Ft. Myers, Florida; sons, Paul A. Endris II and his wife, Susan of Carmel, Indiana and Daniel V. Endris and his wife, Debbie of Charlestown, Indiana; grandchildren, Kristin Willis of New Albany, Jacob and Chelsea Endris of Charlestown, and Elaine Endris of Carmel; and sisters, Janet Staashelm of Clarksville and Sharon A. "Sammy" Spalding of Columbus, Ohio.

The visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday and 1 to 8 PM Thursday, July 28 and 29, 2010 with a Rosary Prayer Service at 7 PM on Thursday at Newcomer Funeral Home – Southern Indiana (formerly Generations Funeral Home) at 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday, July 30, 2010 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville, Indiana with burial to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery in New Albany, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
