Margaret Bittinger

Margaret Bittinger, age 80 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Margaret was a homemaker who loved to spend time with her seven children. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, reading, dancing to country music, and riding motorcycles. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Louis Walter Turner Sr. and Mary Jane Turner; husband Roy E. Bittinger Sr.; brother Louis Walter Turner Jr., sisters Naomi Irene McKeehan and Mary Lou Warren; sons Roy E. Bittinger Jr. and Terry A. Bittinger; and daughter Mary J. Barber.

Margaret is survived by sisters Tina Sego and Geraldine Turner; brother Joe Turner; children Lana S. Abraham (Norman), Dan Bittinger (Shirley), Judy Walter (James), and Yvonne Wilson (Dwayne); and grandchildren Jozi, Danny, Cindy, Donnie, BobbyJo, Andre, Terry, James, and Dontae.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 24, 2012 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.ALZ.org.
