Margaret Bailey

Margaret Bailey, age 88 of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013. She was a member of Trinity A.M.E. Church, former member of Cable Baptist Church, the Golden Girls Club and the Lena Mason Missionary Society at Trinity. She was a mentor to the younger generation at church, and active in readings and poetry. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 44 years, James Bailey, Sr.; children, Warner Strickland (June), Bradley Thomas, James Bailey, Jr. (Betty), Darryl K. Bailey (Trina), Tony B. Bailey (Hettie), Terri Johnson, Roslyn Anderson, Olivia Smith; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral ceremony will be Noon on Monday, February 4, 2013 at Trinity A.M.E. Church, 1036 Euclid Avenue with visitation there from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to the Lena Mason Missionary Society at Trinity Church.
