Marcia Louise (Haworth) Green

Marcia Louise (Haworth) Green, age 78, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024. Born on June 3, 1946, in Paoli, Indiana, she was a beloved daughter of Merrill and Mary (Tuell) Haworth.

Marcia enjoyed a successful career prior to her retirement from Farm Bureau Insurance Agency, where she known for her dedication and professionalism. Throughout her life, she embraced the joy of traveling, often looking forward to visiting the beaches of Florida and Hawaii. The enjoyment she found in being outdoors was evident in her love for boating and cultivating beautiful flowers, a reflection of her vibrant spirit.

At her core, Marcia was a selfless individual, known for her willingness to share her love and warm-heartedness with everyone she encountered. She fostered deep and meaningful relationships, making a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Marcia leaves behind her husband, Donald Green; sons, Scott and David Green (Karla); sister, Jenny Thompson (Brian and daughter, Carey); and brother, Tommy Haworth (Gilda). She also cherished her nieces and nephew, John Haworth (Shelly), Phyllis Haworth (Gary), Ladona Hamilton (Randy), and Deanna Haworth (Mark Ruby), along with many lifelong friends who will remember her with affection.

A reception for family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany).
