Marando Franklin

Marando "Yung Rando" Franklin, 20, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on June 13, 1995 to Tobias Franklin and Maranesha Williams. He was a graduate of Western High School and attended UPike University. He was baptized at the age of 12 at Pleasant View Baptist Church. He formerly worked at Wolverine.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Basil Woods Sr.; paternal grandfather, Johnny L. Franklin; maternal grandmother, Rose Hayes.

Marando is survived by his mother, Maranesha Williams (Art Groves) (Michael Bass Sr.); father, Tobias Franklin (Detroyia); a daughter, Tamera Thompson; grandmothers, Madeline Williams and Beverly Franklin; siblings, Troy, Tresean, Tyrin, Terin Franklin, Michael Bass Jr., Marcus Hayes, Beautiful Bass, Aubrey Payne; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2016 at Bethel Baptist Church, 3540 Garland Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky with burial to follow in Louisville Cemetery. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the church.
