MaDonna Hickman Parker, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on January 24, 2025. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. MaDonna was cherished by family and friends for her warmth and kindness. Her passions included crocheting, playing BINGO, and solving fill-in puzzles, but she found her greatest joy in hosting family gatherings, where her nurturing spirit shone brightly.

A graduate of Doss High School, Class of 1981, MaDonna furthered her education at National Technical College. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was a proud member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, where she found comfort and community.

MaDonna was born on July 17, 1963, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Emery and Betty (Mudd) Hickman. She is preceded in death by her beloved father, Emery Hickman; her loving mother, Betty Hickman; and her brother, Emery Marvin Hickman.

She leaves behind her devoted husband of 32 years, James Parker; her daughters, Chelsea Hickman and Ja'Mesha Parker; her stepdaughter, Tiffany (Donte) Seagraves; her stepson, Jamarr Swain; and her cherished grandchildren, Yaldale McGinnis and Donte Seagraves, Jr. MaDonna is also survived by her brother, David Hickman; her aunt, Susan Ann Gibbs; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, located at 1545 Louis Coleman Jr. Drive, Louisville, Kentucky. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the same location.

Those wishing to honor MaDonna's memory are encouraged to share their thoughts and memories in the guestbook. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
