Madlyn Nash

Madlyn Ann Nash (December 23, 1938 – November 4, 2023)
On Saturday November 4th Madlyn passed peacefully at her home in Louisville, KY surrounded by family.

Madlyn is survived by her husband of 63 years, Dennis Bryan Nash Sr. and their 5 children, Dennis Jr., William, Denise & Michael Rueff, David & Patti Nash and Patrick, along with 9 grandchildren Dennis, Benjamin (Kayla), Will (Courtney), Kate, Michael, Dane, Louie, Andrew and Anne Marie. Madlyn; daughter of Clara Francis Lee, was one of nine children, Marilyn, Pauline, Anna, Joseph Charles, Vickie, John William, Dottie and Joyce. She brags of her copious nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Madlyn was proud of her family which she believed in whole heartily to the core. She was full of life with a great sense of humor and thoroughly enjoyed family and friends. She was the "head assistant coach" to her husband Coach Nash for over 6 decades.

Madlyn was a graduate of Ursuline Academy in Louisville, KY and a strong supporter of Bishop David, St Lawrence & Mt Caramel communities.

A Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mt Caramel Church at 9:00 am on Saturday Nov 11th 2023 followed by Mass at 10:00am. Madlyn's soul will be held in heaven and her body laid to rest at Evergreen Funeral Home & Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday November 11th 2023, 12:30 – 3:00 pm at St Leonard's Catholic Church, 440 Zorn Ave.

By family request, donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Flaget Education Endowment Fund, Flaget Alumni Association PO Box 36558 Louisville KY 40233-6558, in memory of Madlyn Nash.
