Mabel Corrine Miller

Mabel Corrine Miller, 100, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. Mabel was a fun-loving person, who had a great sense of humor and a sharp wit. She was very likable and made friends easily. Mable enjoyed dancing and listening to music. Above all she loved spending time with her family, who were her whole world.

She was born on November 10, 1922, in Parksville, Kentucky, to Felix and Sarah (Pendygraph) Burger. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Miller, Sr.; daughter, Jeanette Spencer; son, Robert Miller, Jr.; son, Chris Miller; sister, Elizabeth Goodman; sister, Helen Emily; sister Jeanette Heines; and brother, Owen Burger.

Mabel is survived by her loving sons, Thomas (Betty) Miller, Wayne Miller, Daryl (Sue) Miller, and Scott (Pamela) Miller; grandson, Duane Miller; sister, Sally Adams; 13 other grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home with burial to follow.
