Lynn Marie Filburn

Lynn Marie Filburn, age 56 of Louisville, Kentucky gained her angel wings on Sunday, May 14, 2023. She was a beloved sister, aunt, niece, and cousin. Lynn was an avid University of Kentucky fan and a Green Bay Packers fan. She loved to laugh and cut up, argue/bicker and joke around with her brother and sister (as siblings do), but was always there to help without question. She loved life, loved to have fun, and loved her dogs. She was loved by all that came into contact with her. Lynn is preceded in death by her loving husband, Tony Filburn; parents, Bill and Donna Abbott; great-niece, Kalista Smith.

Lynn is survived by her sister, Lorri Tanner (Tommy); brother, Bill Abbott (Nikki); nephews, Will Abbott (Mimi) and Nick Vires; nieces, Kayla Abbott (Tevin), Kai (Amanda) Tanne; and great nieces and nephew, Ben, Lucy, and Kendall; many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 2 to 4pm on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243 with a celebration of Lynn's life at 4pm there. A private burial will be held at Jeffersontown Cemetery at a later date.
