Luis M. Gonzales, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022.
He was born on November 28, 1944 in to Felix Gonzales and Maria Salustiana. He is preceded in death by his father.
Luis served our country in the U.S. Army and worked for American Standard. Luis will always be remembered for the love and devotion he had to his family; especially his wife and step children. He enjoyed spending time with their 4 dogs and was a known for being a "jack of all trades".
Luis is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Carolyn Faye Gonzales, his mother, Maria Salustiana, children, Shawn Hendley, and Todd Gonzales, Step Children , Anthony Taylor, Joseph Taylor, Tammy Ford, Lisa Santiago, Lisa Santiago, James Hunter, Carla Thomas Klein, Chanclor Antle, Dominique Thomas, grandchildren, Aaron, Nathen, Tabitha, Lily, Robbie, Stevie, Tamara, Robert, Gary, James, Greg, James, Britney, Desire, Noah, Darrius, Desane', Jackson, and Jerimiah, a host of great grandchildren, and his siblings, Mary Ann, Daisy, Namoi, Anna, and Jimmy.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A celebration of his life will be at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky.
