Ludson Brayton Lee

Ludson Brayton Lee, 91, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and retired from General Electric after many years of employment.

He was born on January 11, 1932, in Washington, Indiana, to the late Aaron Lee and Bertha (Cottrell) Lee. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his 8 brothers and sisters.

Brayton is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Evelyn Lee; children, Basil (Linda) Lee, Cindy (Doug) Webster, Colleen (Steve) Taylor, and Duane (Haley) Lee; grandchildren, Jason (Atasha) Fulton, Jeremy Fulton, Joshua (Misty) Fulton, Christy (Erik) Northern, Cory (Elisa) Lee, Daniel (Kayla) Taylor, and Bonnie (Tony) Taylor; and great-grandchildren, Hayley Fulton, Cadence Northern, Montana Northern, Cole Fulton, Logan Fulton, Henry Longo, William Longo, Dylan Lee, Brooklyn Lee, and Rae Taylor.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with Masonic Services being held at 7:00 p.m. His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
