Lucille Smith

March 29, 1929 — July 6, 2012

Lucille B Smith, age 83, passed away on July 6th at Norton Brownsboro Hospital surrounded by her family and friends. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Pewee Valley. She worked on usher board, sang in church choir,sunday school teacher and was over kitchen committee at church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joe B Smith SR., her parents William and Gradie Bowman. Along with two sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by her sisters Georgie McKitric, Gladys(Leon)Gooch, Mary Caldwell and Lillian Girten and one brother Fred(Charlotte)Bowman. Her children Diana Conley, Joe Smith JR., Michelle Smith Redd and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 09, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Pewee Valley. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the church with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff, KY
