Lucien Green

Lucien Green, 83, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011. He was a WWII Army Veteran, a member of The American Legion, The Louisville Auxiliary Police, The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonel's, and retired from the Selective Service Board and also retired from Cohart Refactories after many years of employment. After retirement he worked various part-time jobs to include, Ratterman Funeral Home on Lexington Rd.
Lucien is preceded in death by his mother, father, two brothers and a sister. His survivors include his wife of 61 years, Doris Collon; his children, David Green, Johann Green, Charles Green (Lisa) and Phyllis Green; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a brother, Thomas Eugene Green.
Funeral Mass for Lucien will be held Monday, November 07, 2011, 10 am at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 760 Eastern Parkway, with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday and Sunday from 11 am – 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Dr. Online condolences may be made at www.newcomerlouisville.com .
