Lowell Albert Grady, Jr.

Lowell Albert Grady, Jr., age 85 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.   Lowell was born on August 12, 1939 in Plattsburg, Missouri to the late Lowell Sr. and Hilda Grady.  He was a longtime member of Southeast Christian Church, longtime member of The Masters Men, the Southeast Christian Church mens' choral group and his prayer group at church.  He was an avid golfer.  Lowell retired from B.F. Goodrich after 35 years of service.

In addition to his parents, Lowell was preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Grady and his wife Rosemary; and his sister, Margaret Thompson and her husband, Bill.

Lowell is survived by his loving wife of almost 58 years, Shelby Jean (Davis) Grady; son, Chris Grady (Dana); grandchildren, Trevor, Evan, Bryce, Whitney and Dakota; 3 great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Willow and Lake; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 9:00am to 11am on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau, Louisville, Kentucky 40243.  A celebration of Lowell's life will be there at 11am, followed by interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
