Frances Louise (Maddox) Pherson, 88, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at her home.
Louise was born on February 28, 1925 in Lepanto, Arkansas to the late Thomas Chester & AnnieBell (Clark) Maddox. She was united in marriage on September 7, 1946 to Eddie J. Pherson and to this union brought two daughters to bless their home. Louise was a faithful member of Northside Christian Church where she enjoyed being a greeter for the Sunday services.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Heather Lione (Joe) & Diana Lynn Thomson (David); sister, Mildred Dollar; grandchildren, Rachel Ann Hix (Phil) & Benjamin Allen Thomson (Courtney). Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie J. Pherson; 6 brothers; 4 sisters.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be Thursday at 11 AM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
Memorial contributions may be made to Northside Christian Church (4407 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN).
