Louis Eldon Troncin, 80, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. He was a hard worker and enjoyed the time he spent at Miller's Packing, National Homes, Hart's Fireplace, Paramount Plywood and Hall's Security. Louis retired from E.M. Cummings Veneers, Inc. in New Albany and loved going camping with his family. He enjoyed watching old western movies and was a big fan of John Wayne.
He was born on August 2, 1943 to Stanley and Fern (Wiseman) Troncin. Along with his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his wife, Gerri (Howerton) Troncin; brothers, Wayne, Gerald, Donnie, Earl Troncin; and sisters, Imogene Hendricks and Ruth Zipp.
Louis is survived by his daughter, Peggy Fessel (Jimmy); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Louis' wish was to be cremated and a reception of family and friends will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a memorial service taking place at 3:00 p.m.
