Louis "Pete" Staser, III, 76, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. He retired from Pillsbury after over 33 years of service. Pete was an avid fisherman, loved Indiana basketball, and was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
He was born on April 20, 1938 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Louis P., II and Annetta L. (Juliot) Staser. Pete was also preceded in death by his sisters, Donna McKnight and Mary Louise Paul.
Pete is survived by his daughters, Shelly Staser, Tina Breedlove (Charles); siblings, Barbara Hoskins (Jerry), Charles Staser (Mary Anne), Mary Delaney, James Staser (Linda), Helen Paragin (Eddie), Robert Staser; grandchildren, Nicole Daniels, Joshua and Jenna Breedlove; great-granddaughter, Aurora Baldwin; several nieces and nephews; and many good friends.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 PM on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN). His Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
