Louie Raymond Wimp Jr.

Louie Raymond Wimp Jr., 69, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away on March 18, 2017 in New Albany, Indiana. He was born on June 6, 1947, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Louie Wimp Sr. and Hazel (Burres) Farnsley. Louie retired from Cissells in Louisville, Kentucky, after many years of service. He enjoyed building Harley bikes, muscle cars, going to drag races, and loved spending time with his family and friends.

Louie was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his life partner, Judy Mitchell, his loving children; Louie Wimp III, John Wimp (Terri), Terry Mitchell, Tracy Mitchell, Joseph Wimp (Erin), Victoria Wimp, his sisters, Sandra Wimp, Linda Little, Deborah Jones, along with 21 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 PM on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 with service to follow at 7PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, IN 47150) with cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Sunny Side Assembly of God (3200 Holmans Ln, Jeffersonville, IN 47130).
