A proud graduate of Butler High School in 1987, Lori furthered her education with an Associate's degree from the Kentucky College of Business, demonstrating her dedication to learning and personal growth. Throughout her life, her greatest achievements were her beloved children, who brought immense joy and pride to her life.
Lori’s personality shined brightly in everything she did. She was a devoted wife to Jason Phelps and a cherished mother to Jeremy (Amber) Minor and Kimberly (Drew) House. With an immense love for her family, she found joy in creating memories with her grandchildren: Kayeleigh, Morgan, Alivia, Ryelynn and Lukas providing a testament to her nurturing spirit. The delight she took in witnessing the birth of her granddaughter, Ryelynn, reflects the depth of her love and the joy family brought to her life.
In her leisure time, Lori found peace in simple pleasures. She enjoyed crocheting, coloring, and spending sunny days outdoors, specifically near water, where she felt most alive. Her love for baking and sweets was legendary in her family, as was her enthusiasm for cooking shows and car shows, shared tenderly with her son Jeremy. Lori also cherished the thrill of shopping and the occasional trip to the casino, adding fun and adventure to her everyday life.
Despite her many interests and passions, Lori’s heart was open and generous; she loved helping others, always ready with a listening ear or a helping hand. To know Lori was truly to love her; her laughter and warmth had a transformative effect on those fortunate enough to cross her path.
