Loretta May (Tarrence) Thompson, 81, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024.
She was born on November 2, 1942 in Louisville to William and Christine (Conrad) Tarrence. Along with her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, Marion "Russell" Thompson; and children, Janice Kruer, Randall and Freddy Thompson.
Loretta is survived by her grandchildren, Travis Kruer, Michael Kruer, Jon Shoemaker (Loretta); and great-grandchildren, Abigail and Zachary.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with her funeral service taking place at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany.
