Loretta Beams, 93, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022. Loretta loved her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and was devoted to her church and loved the Lord.
She was born on May 27, 1929 in Cub Run, Kentucky to Alfred and Maude (Childress) Drake. She is preceded in death by her Father, Alfred Drake, Mother, Maude Drake, Husband, Arthur Beams, Grandson, Chris Montgomery, Sister, Laurie Srygler, Brothers, Homer Drake and Joe Drake.
Loretta is survived by her loving family, Daughters, Linda (Terry) Montgomery, Becky Cook, and Teresa (Terry) Clark; Sons, Charles (Debbie) Cruse, Gary (Glenda) Beams, and Roger (Angie) Beams; 14 Grandchildren; 13 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery - Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
The family requests that contributions in Loretta's memory be made to Emmanuel Apostolic Church (1320 Tennessee Ave. Louisville, KY 40208).
