L'Oreal Ann Edelen

L'Oreal "Lori" Ann Harvey Edelen, 49, of Borden, IN unexpectedly passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023. Lori was born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 29, 1974. She spent many years working as an educator at the Louisville Zoo and then continued to do medical research for Sleep Testing Services and in her final days she began being a homemaker. She had numerous hobbies over the years, including fishing & camping, arts & crafts, volunteering at church, and spending time with loved ones. She will be missed greatly by anyone who had the blessing to know her. She never met a stranger.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Ann Routh; grandparents, Mary Lou and Harrell G. Routh as well as Maxine and John K. Harvey.

Lori is survived by her husband of 22 years, Robin L. Edelen; father, Eddie D. Harvey (Carol) of New Albany, IN; stepdaughter, Samantha C. Edelen (Arturo) of Bakersfield, CA; daughter, Kennedy A. Edelen of Borden, IN; son, Justin D. Edelen (Triston) of Columbus, IN; granddaughter, Haislee Mae of Bakersfield, CA; brothers, Eddie Darrell Harvey, Jr. and Christopher Luallen (Kari); and step-sisters, Sherry Gruber and Kim Gruber.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
