Lonnie Tuell

Lonnie Leo Tuell, 85, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022. He was born on December 11, 1936, in Elizabeth, Indiana, to the late Bernard and Hazel (Johnson) Tuell. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmy, Lawrence, and Jerry Tuell; and son-in-law, Mark Fanning.

Leo is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Jean Tuell; daughter, Rosetta (Tuell) Fanning; son, Mark (Pamela) Tuell; son, Bruce (Theresa) Tuell; brother, Charles Ray Tuell, David (Roberta) Tuell, Vickie Bodenstodt, Roxanne (Bud) Dycus, Richard (Connie) Tuell, and Regina Tuell; grandchildren, Christina Cobb, Hope Bell, Robert Snyder, Michael (Cortney) Terry, Shandtay Cusack French, William Cusack, Aaron Tuell, and Amber Bruner; 15 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at The Lighthouse United Methodist Church (8270 Beech Street SE, Elizabeth, IN 47117). His Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church with burial to follow at Bethesda Cemetery.
