Lonnie Dale Leffler Jr., 50, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
He was born on July 23, 1973 in Louisville, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his mother, Toni Collett.
Lonnie attended St. Xavier High School and graduated from Atherton High School and he received his associate degree from EKU. Lonnie worked at General Rubber & Plastic of Louisville for 11 years and was self employed as a builder/contractor for the last 5 years.
Lonnie is survived by his best friend and loving companion for 20 years, Tracy L. Leffler, daughter, Lanie Leffler, son, Tommy Leffler, daughter, Tally Leffler, father, Anthony H. Ambrosse, brother, Erick Hobbs, mother & father-in-law, John T. & Linda L. Watson, brother & sister-in-law, Greg & Tonya Groves, nieces and nephews, Lillian Hobbs, Kayla (Groves) Hodgson (Grant), Connor Groves (Alyson), Colton Groves and a host of amazing friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions in Lonnie's memory be made to Home of the Innocents (1100 E. Market Street, Louisville, KY 40206).
